Adriane walked slowly into the Cemetary, carefully placing each foot in the dried grass. It smelled of berries, and there was a patch of them at the gate. Dropping down, she thingyed her head at the headstone in front of her knees.
It was gray, but a gray marble. The name carved in it was carved badly, but it was coated with now dry tears.
Alexander Grahnam 1901-2007 Beloved Grandfather, Father,Husband and Friend
He had taught Adriane what she now knew, and she had loved him, he had kept her warm when no one else would, and had done the same for her brother.
He had been like a father, and at least now he could rest in peace.

Adriane felt like an angel of death, having to have wings, and being in a graveyard. Seeing the other girl begin to cry, She moved over and put a jacketed arm around her.

Silent, as if she was a realangel, she just pulled her in a bit closer, knowing the feeling of loss. She knew how painful it was, how difficult to. She knew how to deal with it, or she thought she did.
Her bare knees were in a pile of dirt, grass, and dew, and a ladybug dropped down onto her leg, and taking her non-busy hand, she placed it upon a finger.
"Death, it is not the end, no matter where or who says it. It is just the beginning, of another, improbable and unpredictable journey. Some get to go young, some go old. You can't change the course of things just by wanting it. It is how it is."
She spoke those lines softly and quietly, but as of the cemetary was silent, the notes came out loud and clear.
